3 Ingredient VEGAN CARAMEL SAUCE
EVERY. SINGLE. THING. is better with CARAMEL SAUCE!
Coffee, Ice Cream, Apples, Pie, Brownies, Bananas, Granola, Popcorn, and of course...CAKE!
So how about our favorite VEGAN CARAMEL SAUCE to top your cakes and make them feel a little more indulgent!
*Still Gluten, Dairy, and Refined Sugar FREE of course!*
VEGAN CARAMEL SAUCE
- 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
*To add a little more flare, add in 5 tsp of bourbon for a Bourbon Caramel Sauce!
- In a small saucepan combine all ingredients over medium heat, and stir until combined.
- Bring to a boil, then set a timer for 10 minutes, reduce the heat and simmer for 5 more minutes.
- Remove from heat, let cool for 5 minutes, then serve or pour into a storage container
Enjoy on anything you want, just reheat the caramel sauce before serving.
